Jewish History in the Archives

Wednesday 18 March, 3-5pm, £6.50 including refreshments


Join us for an afternoon of talks to celebrate Jewish History Month. Michael Crook will explore the Jewish Community in Brighton & Hove from 1910-1920, and Gordon Franks will discuss the Sassoon family, prominent residents of the city in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. There will also be an introduction to the Weidenfeld Institute of Jewish Studies,  launched at the University of Sussex last year. A free display of original material from The Keep’s archives will be available to view from 2pm on the day.
